The famous stalemate game, played in 1963 between Larry Evans and Sammy Reshevsky

Here is a great example of using the stalemate rule as a weapon. The game ends with black having two choices. The first is to take the white rook with king or queen and giving stalemate.  The second is something the Russians call the eternal rook. If black does not take the rook. The white rook will check the black king endlessly.
