HOLD ON, I'M COMIN

The battle for 2nd place was decided today. Fabiano is in free falling with three losses, and 2 in a row, first it was Sindarov in round 4, and now to Nakamura in round 8 and Giri in round 9. Kasparov states " losing isn't that bad, its how you lose that can stay with you". Fabiano's losses were bad losses. He is having a hard time forgetting about them. Giri, with black, won the right for 2nd place to today. Sindarov has his third straight draw, and seems to be slowing down. He had his chance, with black, to get a winning attack against Bleubaum open king and went for a queen exchange, thinking he had a won endgame. He miss analysed the position. Giri picked up a .5 points, is holding on to his chances to catch Sindarov. Giri is surging and has won two games in a row. He defeated Praggnanandhaa, and Caruana. We have a two horse race.
